1. What the Service does

RateMyProfile lets you upload photos and an optional bio so that an AI model can provide feedback intended to help you present a dating profile more effectively. The feedback is generated automatically and is opinion-based commentary, not professional, legal, medical, or relationship advice.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use this Service. By using it, you represent that you meet this requirement.

3. Your content

You retain all rights to the photos and text you submit. By using the Service, you confirm that:

• you own the photos or otherwise have the right to upload them;
• every identifiable person in a photo you upload is either you or someone who has consented to appear in an image submitted for AI analysis; and
• your content doesn’t depict anyone under 18, doesn’t infringe anyone else’s rights, and isn’t illegal, hateful, or abusive.

We don’t claim ownership of what you upload, and we don’t use it for anything other than generating the feedback you requested.

4. How your data is handled

The Service is stateless: your photos and bio are sent to a third-party AI provider (currently OpenAI) at the moment you click “Rate my profile,” solely to generate your feedback. RateMyProfile itself does not store your photos, bio, or results in a database — they exist only in your browser session and are discarded once you close or refresh the page. Processing by the AI provider is subject to that provider’s own terms and privacy policy, which we don’t control.

5. AI-generated feedback

Feedback is generated automatically by an AI model and may be inaccurate, incomplete, or not to your taste. It reflects patterns the model has learned, not a guarantee of dating success or any particular outcome. Use your own judgment before acting on it.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• upload photos of anyone without their consent, or of anyone under 18;
• upload illegal, infringing, hateful, or abusive content;
• attempt to disrupt, overload, or reverse-engineer the Service; or
• use the Service for any unlawful purpose.

We may suspend or block access for anyone who violates these Terms.

7. No warranty & limitation of liability

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind. We don’t guarantee the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that the feedback will be accurate or useful. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we aren’t liable for any damages arising from your use of the Service, including reliance on AI-generated feedback.

8. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms.
