1. What we collect

When you use the Service, you submit:

• the photo(s) you choose to upload; and
• the bio/description text you optionally type in.

We don’t ask for your name, email, or any account information, and we don’t use cookies, analytics scripts, or advertising trackers on this site.

2. How we use it

Your photos and bio are sent, at the moment you click “Rate my profile,” directly to a third-party AI provider (currently OpenAI) so it can generate the feedback you asked for. That’s the only use — we don’t use your content for training our own models, marketing, or any purpose other than producing your result.

3. What we store

Nothing, on our side. RateMyProfile has no database. Your photos, bio, and the feedback you receive exist only in your browser for the duration of your visit — refreshing or closing the page discards everything. Our server processes your request and does not write it to disk or log it beyond standard, short-lived technical request logs (e.g., for debugging errors), which don’t include your photos or bio text.

4. Third-party processing

Because your photos and bio are sent to OpenAI’s API to generate feedback, OpenAI’s own privacy policy and data-handling practices apply to that transmission and processing. We don’t control how long OpenAI retains API request data or what it does with it — see OpenAI’s Privacy Policy for details. If the operator of this Service switches AI providers, that provider’s policy would apply instead.

5. Photos of other people

If a photo you upload includes other identifiable people, their image is processed in the same way as described above. Per our Terms of Service, you’re responsible for having their consent before uploading such a photo.

6. Your choices

Because nothing is stored after your session ends, there’s no account data to access, export, or delete — simply closing or refreshing the page removes your photos and results from existence on our end. If you have concerns about a submission, contact us using the details below.

7. Children’s privacy

The Service is intended for users 18 and older and is not directed at children. We don’t knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted means you accept the updated policy.
